My Studio or External Studio ?
For your project, I offer the option of working from my Personal Studio – or I can travel to an External Studio of your choice. If there’s a studio facility you’d prefer to use, please let me know or I am happy to suggest one. I’m based in Wandsworth Town, so I can get to studios in Central London very quickly, or anywhere else in Greater London and the South East very easily. I have experience working in most of the popular Central London sound studios, including:- Silk, Mayflower, Smoke & Mirrors, Zoo, Scramble, Triangle, Music4, Wise Buddah, SNK and The Sound Company.
My Studio Specification
I have a broadcast quality voice-over studio in South West London – setup with industry standard professional equipment as illustrated on this page. This studio caters for fast turnaround (99% of projects voiced and delivered same day), competitive pricing and the option to listen, direct and record the session from anywhere in the world.
Connect with my Studio | Listen & Record
Using a web browser, you can easily connect with my studio to supervise and record the session with the IP solutions described below. If you choose to record the audio on your side, I will simultaneously record a safety backup in my studio.
My studio broadband connection is 75 Mbps Download, 18 Mbps Upload. I’ve tested four IP recording solutions and noted their optimum speed settings for sending high quality MONO audio with my studio connection.
ipDTL offers full support for the following browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera and Yandex. It offers partial support for Safari. I’ve tested this successfully at 256 kbps mono on Chrome. Cleanfeed Lite is FREE and allows up to 2 guests with 1 audio source. I’ve tested this successfully at 256 kbps mono on Chrome and used it for numerous radio commercial recordings. Cleanfeed offers full support for the following browsers: Google Chrome (preferred), Edge and Opera. It offers GUEST support only for Safari and Firefox. If you prefer to supervise with more than 2 guests using the Cleanfeed Pro plan – please feel free to send me a web link/invitation to join your session as a guest.
SessionLinkPRO works with Chromium based browsers like Google Chrome, Chromium, Opera or Yandex. I’ve tested this successfully at 256 kbps mono on Chrome and often use it for connecting with Studio-Based clients in Germany and Austria. Source Nexus Free is an accessible, FREE version of the Source Nexus Gateway that works with any Source Elements account, no license required. It offers up to 5 participants per session and only my voice may be recorded. It supports all web browsers including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Connect with my Studio | Listen Only
If you’re happy to simply supervise/direct the session and leave all the recording to me – we can use any of the popular video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google meet. These are very effective for listening in real time and providing feedback. I will record the audio at my studio and send the files when the session is over. Feel free to send me an invitation to your video conferencing session ahead of the recording.
