GetAgent.co.uk | TV Commercial Voiceover

It was a pleasure to record a national TV Commercial voiceover for GetAgent.co.uk which is screening on Channel 4 and other platforms. GetAgent is an estate agent comparison website, helping sellers make an informed decision when choosing an agent. Firstly, they analyse property listings and Land Registry entries to shortlist the best local estate agents. Each shortlisted agent submits a fee quote to sell the property. Finally, you invite agents round for a valuation and then instruct the preferred agent to sell your home.

This fun and informative commercial starts with a couple inside an estate agent’s office. As they finish the conversation, the husband places something under the desk. Later he dons sunglasses and a hat, and puts a covert style earpiece in. He seems extremely pleased with his spy skills. Looking bemused, she proves that his spy skills are unnecessary by showing her mobile phone with the GetAgent website loaded. Here the commercial cuts to the phone screen for a show and tell of the website. It’s at this point the first section of my voiceover is heard, explaining the process.

Then we cut to a humorous ending with the clunky spy apparatus being held up for all to see. The second section of my voiceover is heard over this section and over the branding at the end of the commercial.

The voice brief was:- Neutral / RP English accent, trustworthy, authoritative, warm and friendly.
