UK Money Laundering – Documentary Voiceover

I was delighted to provide a documentary voiceover for this creative 2D animation which highlights the problem of money laundering within the UK.

The UK has long been renowned as a centre of business and commerce, but in recent years it has also become known as the ‘World’s Laundromat’ for flushing through the proceeds of crime and corruption. Business leaders in Britain believe money laundering is harming the UK’s standing in the international business community and want the government to toughen its stance, a new YouGov poll has revealed.

The poll, commissioned by campaign group Robust, questioned business decision makers in Britain and identified that 76 per cent believe money laundering would have a damaging effect on the UK’s business reputation, with 32 per cent responding that it would be ‘very damaging’. They also found that 64% of business leaders want more robust checking at Companies House and 84% are willing to pay a bit more for this.
Robust are seeking to protect the UK’s reputation by campaigning for increased integrity at Companies House.

The voice brief was “confident and sharp” with neutral English accent. I recorded the audio at my personal studio and provided a fully produced / edited version for the client to build the animation around.
