UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) is a flagship programme under the UK’s International Climate Finance (ICF) portfolio. The programme is funded by the Uk Government and helps partner countries to implement and increase their ambitions for carbon emissions reductions. The programme has provided funding for projects and skill-shares across three continents since 2018.

For COP26, the main video voiceover relates to Skill Shares & Secondments, highlighting projects in Colombia and South Africa. It features at the top of this page. The video was screened live at COP26 as part of the UK PACT presentation from the UK Presidency Pavilion on 2nd November 2021. It also streamed on the UK Government YouTube channel.

The additional 4 voiceovers were teaser videos of 30-40 seconds. These were shown on social media/youtube in the run-up to COP26 and covered topics such as Energy, Green Finance and Colombia.

The client wanted a British Voiceover artist with a neutral accent and gravitas. Clear diction was also a priority since English would not be the mother tongue for many conference attendees. My tonal range is wide and, if needed, I can easily pitch my voice lower to access a richer, deeper space for projects that require this level of gravitas.
